Residential Project Types
What projects can we do for you
Our architecture practice has over 25 years’ experience designing Scottish buildings, working on many different types of projects.
We are best known for several styles of architecture – large traditional-style newbuild houses, and conservation and extension work on historic homes are probably the two most associated with Thomas Robinson Architects. It is true we have specialist skills in both these types of projects. Have a look at our previous projects for inspiration.
However, we are accomplished at many styles of architecture and types of projects for both residential and commercial clients. Do browse the clickable list at the bottom of this page to find out more about how we approach each diverse type of architectural project in Scotland.
From new builds to castles
From luxury homes and island houses, to castles, conversions, new builds, and renovations, we design and oversee construction of projects of all kinds. Many are in rural or semi-rural locations across Scotland, from Glasgow commuter villages to the Outer Hebrides, and right down to the Borders and up to Caithness and beyond.
If you have an architectural project in Scotland in mind, of any type, it’s likely we can help.
More about our service
Another thing we are known for is our attentive and thorough client care. Our service starts with really digging down into what it is each client needs, then ensuring careful attention to detail is applied throughout our service to go above and beyond in our delivery.
We design buildings that make people happy, whether that’s a client who has just built their dream home, or a developer working to a strict budget to complete a hotel project in the wilds of the Scottish isles. Each project is different, but at their core, the best buildings have a similarity. They either feel good to be in or they don’t. Our job is to ensure the former.
Do get in touch to discuss your project idea.
