We are highly experienced commercial architects, and have completed a wide variety of commercial projects across Scotland. The process and services involved in commercial architecture depend on the project. But we have listed our primary commercial architecture services at the bottom of this page, with a brief description of what each covers.
how we do it
Our commercial services can be commissioned separately. However, for most clients, the process follows a natural sequential set of services, punctuated by meetings with us. Our process aligns with the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) standard Plan of Works.
Our expert team can work on all commercial architectural projects. We are dedicated to creating the best buildings to exacting standards that serve their purpose, look right in their surroundings, and stand the test of time.
The commercial architecture service usually starts with the development of the brief, followed by concept designs, planning permission submissions, building warrant submissions, contract administration, and condition reports. Partial services may be appropriate if a commercial project is not proceeding from start to finish as a whole.
There are also other services that can be interwoven, depending on the commercial build being proposed. These can include aspects of conservation architecture, our executive architecture service, and interior architecture, for example. Sustainable architecture considerations are at the core of all our services, and we also have Passivhaus architects on the team who can contribute valuable knowledge on low-energy buildings for every project.
